BUILDING REGULATION

Building Regulations

The Building Regulations (April 2007 version) now provide an important link between Part B (fire safety) of the regulations and the Fire Safety Order. The development of a fire strategy at an early stage identifies Building Regulation issues and also provides the foundation for the development of procedures to meet the duties under the Fire Safety Order. These duties come into effect on the first day you occupy a premises - there is no period of grace!

We are able to offer advice on the application of Part B (Fire Safety) of the Building Regulations, The Building Act and ancillary legislation. We are also able to offer advice on the best option for you to take in gaining Building Regulations approval, as you can choose between local authority building control or an ‘Approved Inspector’, the private form of control.
